Eek! I haven’t started mine yet!! might try to get the first stage done tonight 🙂
lol there’s no hurry – SAL only started yesterday
Phew! I don’t even know what day of the week it is here!! busy, busy, busy 🙂
Thanks Claire – I am really enjoying the project, and everyones work is so inspiring. I showed my WIP to a few of my stitching friends today – and they are impressed – made me feel wonderful – Thank you for introducing me to this lovely little craft style.
you’re welcome ^^ maybe you’ll be able to tempt some of your stitching friends to try their hand at blackwork
Advice sought – Being a Novice Blackworker – I am struggling a little with this SAL. As you know I have progressed, however the bit I have difficulty with is the areas where you have a single column, over 3 stiches. Should I cheat and just do one long stitch over the 3 stitch blocks, or keep trying to get it even. I am enjoying the SAL and want to make sure I get it correct, and completed in the month.
have sent an email with a photo which, I hope, will explain things

Same pattern looks so different when done in different colours. Girls, they are all so lovely!
Love the varigated stitching – they are all lovely, and opening up my eyes to different colourways – I am set in my ways and need to escape – LOL
yes it’s lovely to see how the choice of colour makes all the difference to a design
