I’ve been doing a bit of this & that of late. Some sewing, some patchworking and some crochet. Sometimes though, we are sent a little sign to say: it’s time to take a break. This was mine.
Duh!!! I put first sleeve in no problem. Must have started feeling cocky when I did the second one. A sure sign it’s time to put down tools and find something else to do for a while. So I had a cat-hunt wondering what our three cats were up to. Abby wasn’t hard to find since she’d been keeping me company while I messed up that sleeve.
Le Bleu wasn’t far away either . . . he was in our bedroom, just waiting to strike a pose.
As for Ducky . . . he was fast asleep in the veranda.
and, while I tried to be quiet, and didn’t use the flash, I managed to wake him up. Sorry Ducky!
Anyway . . . after that quick feline photo session and a fresh mug of coffe, I did head back to my sewing room to unpick the offending sleeve and finish off the Tshirt. If you want to see how it turned out, you can click here: Claire’s Collections.
Your kitties look so contented and happy. 😊
plenty of choice for places to sleep. Although how Abby manages to sleep when Juki is sewing, is beyond me.
Love the 😺😸🙀
As for the t-shirt ‘oops’, I did something similarl with a patchwork block the other day – and it was going so well up to then.
advantage of it happening on doll’s Tshirt: seam was very quick to unpick lol.
The number of times I have made a mistake like that! It was lovely to see photos of your cats.
yes I don’t take enough photos of the cats. I really should try and take some more often!
Love seeing pictures of the cats. They look so content. 🐈 As for the t-shirt, we’ve all had moments like that. Thank goodness for seam rippers and pets to take your mind off it.
cats don’t ask for much really . . . they’ll sleep literally anywhere ^^
Oooh what doll are you making for? xxx
this was for a Sylvia Natterer Finouche – photos of finished T on doll if you follow the link. I run several blogs, the other one is exclusively for dolls as some of my crafting followers find my dolls a bit scarey ^^
Found your other blog thanks xxx
Oh, the many, many times I’ve had to pick out a seam like that! I feel the pain! LOL. But, what a nice distraction your 3 feline friends provide. 🙂
lol luckily it’s only a very small Tshirt, so very short seam ^^
