SAL update – Cirque des Triangles #6

Last time, I showed you this photo.

CdesT 05

For this update, I worked on the right-hand side of my fabric, to keep things symmetrical, and “Cirque des Triangles” looks like this.

CdesT stage 6

Let’s go see what other SAL members have been busy stitching.

Avis, is working on the same CdesT design, but in totally different colours.  Other members are all working on a wonderful variety of projects:  Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose, Christina, SusanP, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen, Steph, WendyLinda, Catherine, Mary Margaret and Timothy.

Next update on 25th June.

  1. Claire, thank you again for helping to open my eyes to the possibilities of variegated threads! I’m waiting though, I feel certain that there is a big surprise coming in the middle section!

    • we set ourselves a section to stitch every 3 weeks and have tried to split the chart up into roughly equal parts, but yes, might have stitched a little more this time.

  2. You and the other members of your SAL are such an inspiration. I never saw a piece using verIgated thread before. Both yours and Avis’s version are just beautiful!

    • thanks for your visit Terri. And yes, variagated thread makes for interesting embroidery because it totally changes a design depending on the colour
