flat-warming cushions

My daughter, Lindashee, doesn’t talk much about her private life in public, but she did share news with you that she now has a full-time job in England (as 3D Artist for a games studio), and has recently moved into her own flat.  Both events are cause for celebration . . . so I got sewing.  Two 9 patch blocks (using a selection of charm squares from my stash)

duly cut (very carefully) in quarters and reassembled

And then finished as two cushion covers

Sorry to keep repeating myself with 9 patch blocks lol.  I really do love the way things look so different once it’s been sliced into quarters and reassembled.  It’s magic every time!
