Our local post office was closed during the month of August. It’s only a very small PO, with one employee, and she was on her (well-earned) summer break. Out of sheer laziness really, since we do have other post offices within a 5 mile radius, I didn’t send out any un-birthday surprises for August . . . so decided to make up for it this month.
I’m celebrating four un-birthdays in September . . . drum roll please . . .
For Flo, who always thinks of me on her travels, and send me a regular supply of bookmarks . . . a little fabric tray and needle book
For Ghislaine, one of my ex-English students, who sends me surprise mail and postcards . . . also a little fabric tray and needle book
For mamoures, a forum friend: a bookmark, skein of thread and fabric tray
and for Debbierose, a real life friend, who lives the other side of the world, in Australia, a matching bookmark and needle book
Just in case anyone else wants to make some little needle-books, I followed a tutorial on Make It Do.
