patchwork progress

It’s half term holidays here, which means that there hasn’t been any patchwork club because the centre where we meet is closed. So I’ve been trying to make some progress at home (but often being distracted by cross stitch). However, today I put cross stitch to one side, and got back to some hand-piecing.  First of all, a band of assorted triangles which is for the group project.

And then, back to my squares . . . I have now finished doing the “gold” stitching on my 19 squares AND then added the red thread just to one square to see how it looked.

So next stage is to add red thread to the other 18 squares, and then seek advice as to how to assemble my squares.

  1. Claire your flying geese are looking lovely (the band of traingles), and i love the red blended into the gold stitching on your cathedral windows. Keep up the good work. Debbie xoxo
